Sutton Foster, an actor who sings, dances, and performs, has appeared in eleven Broadway productions and the most recent revival of Violet. She also portrayed roles on Broadway as a singer, dancer and actor in The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. Her Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie as well as Young Frankenstein. Star Search, at the 15th birthday, was the first time she appeared on TV. Since then, Sutton has appeared on Bunheads as well as Psych. As a solo artist, Sutton has appeared across the US and internationally, as well as along with the musical direction of Michael Rafter... featuring songs from her debut solo album "Wish" and the follow-up CD "An Evening With Sutton Foster: Live at the Cafe Carlyle." Sutton Foster performed on stages at Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, the Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub as well as many more. She received her Honorary Doctorate in 2011 from Ball State University, where she is also a faculty member and advisor for the Department of Theatre and Dance. Her new TVLand series, "Younger," created by Darren Star began airing in March of 2015.
